This week, we bring you a music video from one of my favorite artists. MuteMath is the band that nobody’s heard of, but everybody’s heard of. Many years ago, one of their songs showed up as a bonus track on a WOW Hits CD, and their EP was available in Christian bookstores. Then, they ran into some record label trouble, and their first full-length CD was delayed for a long time. Warner Bros. finally got their album out there, and the rest is history.

I was introduced to them when a buddy of mine invited me to a concert of theirs back in 2006.
Best.
Live.
Show.
Ever.

Since then, their first album has consistently been in my Most Played section of iTunes, and I’ve eagerly waited for their follow-up AND their next tour.

Well, their sophomore release Armistice came out a few weeks ago, and I’m going to get to see them October 20. Whether you’re already a fan, or you’re just being introduced to them, here is their newest music video: Spotlight

This song is one of my favorites off the new album. It was featured on the Twilight soundtrack, but I’ve decided that they’re awesome enough to forgive for that little mis-step.
Their new stuff is a little different from their first album, but then again, I’d hope that 5 years of experience would change a band’s sound. If it didn’t, I’d be worried.

If you want a taste from their first album, check out this video of their song Typical:

So, leave a comment. Whaddya think?
